What's the difference between standard, machine made remedies and hand-succussed remedies?
*Standard Remedies are machine-made, mass-produced remedies that use the homeopathic dilution and succussion methods, and are made on a paint shaker type of machine, then sprayed on sugar pellets and bottled. If you use these remedies, you may have to quit using coffee, mint, perfume or any other antidoting substance as they may interfere with the effectiveness of the remedy. These are the ones sold (in lower potencies) at most health stores. The kits marked with * are from manufacturers that use this process. They are usually sold in tubes with instructions to take 3-5 pellets per dose. Each tube will yield about ten doses.
**Hand-Succussed Remedies are made in accordance with the strict instructions given in the sixth edition of Hahnemann's Organon. They are painstakingly hand succussed between each dose and are of the highest quality. They are less likely to be antidoted, deeper acting, yet gentler to the system. The body does not get used to the same dose because the remedies is slightly altered by the user when shaken before each dose. The hand succussed remedies are the choice of most professional and experienced Homeopathic Physicians. Individual remedies are sold in ready-to-use, water solutions in dropper bottles. Remedy kits come on #10 poppy seed sized pellets, and each 1/2 dram bottle contains hundreds of pellets with instructions on how to administer in water solutions.
